Welcome to The Butterfly and Bird Julio Tours – Eco-Lodge, a peaceful community-run eco-lodge located in La Delicia, Nanegal, in the northwestern region of Pichincha, Ecuador. Our lodge lies within the world-renowned Chocó Endemic Corridor, one of the most biologically rich ecosystems on the planet.
At 900 meters of elevation and surrounded by pristine tropical forest, the eco-lodge is a sanctuary for wildlife. Enjoy close encounters with over 500 bird species, including 15+ hummingbird species, as well as countless butterflies.
Our hummingbird feeders allow guests to easily observe iconic species such as the White-Whiskered Hermit and the rare Tooth-billed Hummingbird, making this destination ideal for eco-tourism, birdwatching, and nature photography.
